A carryable bird shaped device that’s sensitive to infra-red signals. Bard is a playable device in the shape of a wooden bird that can be operated by any infrared remote control.

This companion machine interprets the signals it receives in the form of a melody. The interaction around this object has been designed to question our relationship with objects and the way we ask them to perform actions. While using this pirat bird, you can hack remotes to turns them into musical instruments and it will be your interpret.

«Memetic Pet Store» suggests an affective, even melancholic approach to these graphic forms. Generally relegated to the rank of kitsch and bad taste, they were nevertheless often at the heart of an entire generation’s first computer experiments.

Neglected by their users, these graphic memories are now like old pet fish circling endlessly trapped in their aquarium.

A piece in which current intensity is transformed into a sound wave. The metal legs of the structure, the plants and also the people interacting with the work are all part of the circuit. When the circuit closes at the moment of contact between the protagonists and the structure, the sound signal is emitted. Bodies, living things and materials are brought together in a musical experience. The current that flows through them is the melody, for which they serve as a score.
